When Sabra Egbert ministers to families, it’s her outstanding people skills and compassion that truly sets her apart. She is a volunteer coordinator with Silverado Hospice in Houston, Texas. Sabra was recognized by aCremation as its Dedicated Caregiver of the Month for January.

The award recognizes caregivers that make a difference in the lives of the patients and families they serve. Sabra was nominated by a family member of a former patient. The family shared that although they were only able to benefit from the gift of hospice for two days; Sabra was with them and supported the family while taking care of the needs of their loved one at the same time.

“Sabra is a special person that showed compassion as well as dedication,” said Amber. “Our family will be forever grateful for having Sabra here.”
